Diospyros nigra

Diospyros nigra, the black sapote, is a species of persimmon. Common names include chocolate pudding fruit, chocolate persimmon and (in Spanish) zapote prieto.
The tropical fruit tree is native to eastern Mexico, the Caribbean, Central America, and into Colombia.
