野味是中国对野生动物来源的食材的叫法，在他国称为丛林肉。古时人类经常对野生动物进行捕杀，并成为一种仪式。如清朝。但到近代野味受到人类的大量捕杀后，数量大幅减少，很多物种已经灭绝。在中国濒危的动物虽然受到国家保护，但仍然有非法猎人经常猎杀野味。野味在人类饭桌上口碑不错。
