八幡滨市 Yawatahama, Ehime

八幡滨市是位于爱媛县西部佐田岬半岛根部的城市，因为天然的良港八幡滨港，也因此具有四国规模最大的鱼市场。八幡滨港同时也是四国往返九州的重要港口。
城市名称源自「八幡滨浦」，由于当地在7世纪创建了八幡神社，因此海边地区便以「八幡大神所在地的海边（滨）」来命名。

Yawatahama(八幡浜市Yawatahama-shi) is a city located in the southwestern part of Ehime Prefecture, Japan, and has the largest fish market on Shikoku. The Mikan is the featured agricultural product.
As of March 31, 2012, the city has an estimated population of 38,307, with 16,885 households and a population density of 287.96 persons per km². The total area is 133.03 km².
