跑动量（英文：Work rate）一词意旨在足球比赛中，单一足球运动员对于整场比赛跑动与追逐的程度，并非指控球的能力。.

跑动量的评比方式一般透过比赛中球员在场上所跑动的距离来计算，其中较为著名跑动量极高的球员有，场上司职中场的西班牙足球员并且目前效力于巴塞隆纳哈维，哈维在2010–11年欧洲冠军联赛最后一场比赛中，其跑动量高达12公里，远胜于该场比赛其他的球员，同样的在2010年世界杯足球赛中，哈维的跑动距离高达14.98公里（包含延长赛）。

高跑动量的球员，能够为整场比赛带来进攻攻势的发挥以及团队更为积极的作用，相反的，被批评为低跑动量的球员，则会带来反效果，其中ESPN的足球新闻记者 Sam Limbert 就针对兵工厂足球俱乐部的中场德尼尔森·佩雷拉·内维斯就属于跑动量较为薄弱的足球运动员。
