William de la Mare
William De La Mare (died c.1285) was an English Franciscan theologian.
William de la Mare is thought to have been born in Britain. He obtained a master's degree (Master Regent) in Paris in 1274/5. In 1282, the Franciscan order adopted his work, the Correctorium Fratris Thomae, critical of Thomas Aquinas's works, was prescribed to be read in conjunction with that of Thomas.
