维基文库（Wikisource）是维基媒体基金会下的维基百科的姊妹计划，目的是创建一个自由的、基于Wiki的文献仓库，包括每一个语言版本的完整原始文献，并且把这些文献翻译成多种语言。刚开始叫做「Sourceberg」，在2003年12月6日经过投票确定为现在的名称。

现在维基文库上主要存放各种遵循GNU自由文档协议证书的文档以及兼容这个协议的原始文档，还有公有领域、无版权或者版权已经过期的原始文献，例如古代的诗歌、文章、法律文本等等。

这个项目在2003年11月4日开始启动。它的图标是一座写实的冰山。但由于图像版权问题，后又经投票，决定今日的图像。

Wikisource is an online digital library of free content textual sources on a wiki, operated by the Wikimedia Foundation. Wikisource is the name of the project as a whole and the name for each instance of that project (each instance usually representing a different language); multiple Wikisources make up the overall project of Wikisource. The project's aims are to host all forms of free text, in many languages, and translations. Originally conceived as an archive to store useful or important historical texts (its first text was the Déclaration universelle des Droits de l'Homme), it has expanded to become a general-content library. The project officially began in November 24, 2003 under the name Project Sourceberg. The name Wikisource was adopted later that year and it received its own domain name seven months later. The project has come under criticism for lack of reliability but it is also cited by organisations such as the National Archives and Records Administration.
