越南法包(越南语Bánh mì饼面,意指面粉做的饼)是一种具东南亚色彩的法国面包,虽然在国际上常被当成越南特色菜,但此食品广泛流行于前**等地区,在越南、柬甫寨、老挝均为日常食品。制作该面包时,除了用面粉外,亦会加入米粉,质感相对较脆,也较传统法包为轻。

当地人进食时,常常加入带甜酸味的白红萝卜丝腌菜、新鲜黄瓜、芫荽、辣椒,涂以猪肝酱、黄油,加入不同肉片,但多数不用芝士,通常当作早餐、小吃或夜宵。

Bánh mì (/ˈbæn ˌm/; Vietnamese pronunciation: [ɓǎɲ mî]) is a Vietnamese term for all kinds of bread. The word is derived from bánh (bread) and (wheat, also spelt in northern Vietnam). Bread, or more specifically the baguette, was introduced by the French during its colonial period. The bread most commonly found in Vietnam is a single-serving baguette, therefore the term bánh mì is synonymous with this type of bread. The bánh mì is usually more airy than its Western counterpart, with a thinner crust. It is sometimes metonymous with a food item known as a "Vietnamese sandwich" (or, in Louisiana, USA, as a "Vietnamese po' boy" or in Philadelphia, USA, as a "Vietnamese hoagie"), for which the bánh mì serves as the bread wrapper.
