前庭耳蜗神经（Vestibulocochlear nerve）是12对脑神经当中的第8对，同时也称作听神经。它是支配内耳的脑神经，其中又可分为掌管听力的耳蜗神经、掌管平衡的前庭神经。本神经位在颞骨之内，自延髓延伸至内听道，与颜面神经位于在相同的位置。 听神经将内耳中的感觉细胞（毛细胞）的消息传递到大脑。一方面由耳蜗神经（亦作听神经）所构成，负责传递听觉的消息；另一方面则是前庭神经，传递平衡的消息。听神经（auditory nerve）也被称作acoustic nerve。受损会导致耳聋及平衡失调。
