Vendas Novas (Portuguese pronunciation:[ˈvẽdɐʒ ˈnɔvɐʃ]) is a municipality in the District of Évora in Portugal. The population in 2011 was 11,846, in an area of 222.39km². The city has 10,235 inhabitants.
The present Mayor is José Rodrigues Figueira, elected by the Unitarian Democratic Coalition. The municipal holiday is September 7.
