Tyndareus

In Greek mythology, Tyndareus /tɪnˈdɛriəs/ (Ancient Greek: Τυνδάρεως [tyndáreɔːs]) was a Spartan king, son of Oebalus (or Perieres) and Gorgophone (or Bateia), husband of Leda (Λήδα), father of Castor, Clytemnestra, Timandra, Phoebe and Philonoe, and stepfather of Helen of Troy and Pollux.
