东照宫 Tōshō-gū

东照宫是供奉日本最后一代幕府—江户幕府的开府将军德川家康的神社。德川家康在位后以武力攻破各军阀领地，统一全日本，死后被尊为江户幕府的守护神东照大权现，供奉之神社称为东照宫。日本全国有许多东照宫，其中最有名的是位于栃木县日光市的日光东照宫，也是所有东照宫之间的总本社所在。

A Tōshō-gū (东照宫) is any Shinto shrine in which Tokugawa Ieyasu is enshrined with the name Tōshō Daigongen (东照大権现). Ieyasu was the founder of the Tokugawa shogunate (1603-1868), which is the third and last of the shogunal governments in Japanese history. It is part of Shrines and Temples of Nikkō UNESCO World Heritage site.
