《魔戒》（英语：The Lord of the Rings，又名《指环王》）是一部由英国牛津大学教授、语言学家J·R·R·托尔金创作的史诗奇幻文学作品。这个故事原是托尔金早年创作的儿童幻想小说《哈比人历险记》（1937年）之续篇，但随着故事的发展逐渐变得恢弘庞大。此作品绝大部分完成于1937至1949年，约与二战期间相符，因此有人相信此作在某些方面亦受到该场战争的影响。《魔戒》一书为畅销书籍，不同版本已售出超过一亿五千万册。
