甲状腺过氧化物酶（Thyroid peroxidase或thyroperoxidase，简称TPO）是一种主要在甲状腺中表达的酶。它可以催化碘离子与甲状腺球蛋白酪氨酸残基的加成反应，以此合成甲状腺素（thyroxine，缩写为T4）或三碘甲腺原氨酸（缩写为T3）等甲状腺激素.人类的TPO基因编码甲状腺过氧化物酶。

Thyroid peroxidase or thyroperoxidase (TPO) is an enzyme expressed mainly in the thyroid where it is secreted into colloid. Thyroid peroxidase oxidizes iodide ions to form iodine atoms for addition onto tyrosine residues on thyroglobulin for the production of thyroxine (T4) or triiodothyronine (T3), the thyroid hormones. In humans, thyroperoxidase is encoded by the TPO gene.
