雅各宾专政，即恐怖统治（法语：la Terreur，1793年9月5日-1794年7月28日）时期，为法国大革命时一段充满暴力的时期，由罗伯斯庇尔领导的雅各宾派统治法国，当时吉伦特派与雅各宾派正在争夺政权，有数千人被安上反革命的罪名，遭到政府处刑，送上断头台。在这段时期里，据历史学家统计，法国全国有16,594人被送上断头台，其中在巴黎有2,639人，而以其他方式运行死刑者，法国全国约有25,000人。

The Reign of Terror (6 September 1793 – 28 July 1794), also known as The Terror (French:la Terreur), was a period of violence that occurred after the onset of the French Revolution, incited by conflict between two rival political factions, the Girondins and The Mountain, and marked by mass executions of "enemies of the revolution". The death toll ranged in the tens of thousands, with 16,594 executed by guillotine (2,639 in Paris), and another 25,000 in summary executions across France.
