狮身人面像（阿拉伯语：أبو الهول العظيم في الجيزة‎）或称人面狮身像，是一座位在卡夫拉金字塔旁的雕像，外型是一个狮子的身躯和人的头。狮身人面像长约73.5米（241英尺），宽约19.3米（63英尺）和高约20.22米（66.34英尺）。狮身人面像是现今已知最古老的纪念雕像，一般相信是在法老哈夫拉统治期间内置成。（约公元前2558年至2532年）

由于狮身人面像无论是年代、外型，甚至是建造者是谁都充满争议，所以这些问题被世人称作「狮身人面像之谜」，但与希腊神话中的斯芬克斯之谜仍有些许不同。

The Great Sphinx of Giza (Arabic:أبو الهول‎ Abū al-Haul, English: The Terrifying One; literally: Father of Dread), commonly referred to as the Sphinx of Giza or just Sphinx, is a limestone statue of a reclining or couchant sphinx (a mythical creature with a lion's body and a human head) that stands on the Giza Plateau on the west bank of the Nile in Giza, Egypt. The face of the Sphinx is generally believed to represent the face of the Pharaoh Khafra.
