磁带噪声
磁带噪声是一种在录制时由于制作磁带时使用的磁粉大小关系而出现在类比磁带上的高频杂讯，实际上它是记录介质（recording medium）的杂讯底层值（en:noise floor），它可以透过使用较细的磁粉颗粒或增加每秒用以录制声音信号的磁带使用量来消除。
有些降噪技术亦可以用以消除磁带噪声。这些技术包括Dolby NR和DBX。或者在视频录制时调整混合视频信号或明视度（luminance）部份的频率。

Tape hiss 磁带噪声Tape hiss is the high frequency noise present on analogue magnetic tape recordings caused by the size of the magnetic particles used to make the tape. Effectively it is the noise floor of the recording medium. It can be reduced by the use of finer magnetic particles or by increasing the amount of tape used per second to record a signal. It can also be reduced by increasing the track width of the recording. A 3 dB reduction in hiss occurs for every doubling of the track width. |
