Taoiseach 爱尔兰总理
The Taoiseach () is the head of government or prime minister of Ireland. The Taoiseach is appointed by the President upon the nomination of Dáil Éireann, the lower house of the Oireachtas (parliament), and must, in order to remain in office, retain the support of a majority in the Dáil. The current Taoiseach is Enda Kenny, TD, who was appointed on 9 March 2011. On 10 March 2016 at the first sitting of the 32nd Dáil Kenny failed to gain the support of the house and tendered his resignation to the President. He remained in office in an acting capacity until being elected again on 6 May 2016.
