The map shows the division of Norway after the Battle of Svolder according to Heimskringla. Eiríkr Hákonarson ruled the purple area as a fiefdom from Sweyn Forkbeard. The yellow area was under Sveinn Hákonarson, his half-brother, held as a fief of Olof Skötkonung, the Swedish king. The red area was under direct Danish control, with Sweyn's ruling it as a Danish extension.

八字胡斯韦恩（Sweyn Forkbeard，960年－1014年2月3日），丹麦国王、英格兰国王、挪威国王。

986年或987年早期，在其父亲去世后，他成为丹麦国王。

1013年攻入英格兰，击败英王埃塞尔雷德二世，开创了丹麦王朝，但仅仅一年后的1014年2月3日，斯韦恩去世。

其长子哈拉尔接替他成为丹麦国王，即哈拉尔二世；另一子克努特接替他成为英格兰国王，也即后来的克努特大帝。

Sweyn Forkbeard (Old Norse: Sveinn Tjúguskegg; Danish: Sven Tveskæg; 960 – 3 February 1014) was king of Denmark, England, and parts of Norway. His name appears as Swegen in the Anglo-Saxon Chronicle. He was the son of King Harald Bluetooth of Denmark, and the father of Cnut the Great.
