合 (天体位置) Conjunction (astronomy)

合是位置天文学的一个名词，它的意义是从一个选定的特定天体（通常是地球）观察到二个天体在天空上的位置彼此非常靠近。较严谨的说法是这两个天体在天球上有相同的赤经或黄经，而通常对太阳系内的天体都会使用黄经。这种现象有时称为appulse：两星渐近（**用法）或最小角距（中国大陆用法）。

In astronomy, a conjunction occurs when two astronomical objects or spacecraft have either the same right ascension or the same ecliptic longitude, usually as observed from Earth.

. The conjunction symbol is not used in modern astronomy. It continues to be used in astrology.
