斯特里戈伊（Strigoi），又译死催戈，源自于罗马尼亚，其意为凶兆预言者。

斯特里戈伊是依靠重生才能成为吸血鬼的人，大部分的斯特里戈伊，外表是深红色头发和靛蓝色眼睛、有两颗心脏。他们擅长迷惑人类，会在夜间释放出自己灵魂，与女巫或其他斯特里戈伊聚合，届时吹响号角来鼓舞他们吸取人和动物的鲜血。

在罗马尼亚的民间传说，人死后会变成两种邪灵，一种是莫罗伊（Moroi），另一种就是斯特里戈伊；人们会遵循传说中对付斯特里戈伊的仪式。

是否变成斯特里戈伊关键是在前40天，在这段期间尸体可能成为斯特里戈伊，白天只能困在坟墓内，到晚上才能到外面活动，但还没有具体形态，必须靠活人的鲜血维生。40天后死斯特里戈伊可能转化成活死人，这时候白天也能攻击活人。

In Romanian mythology, strigoi (English: striga, poltergeist) are the troubled souls of the dead rising from the grave. Some strigoi can be living people with certain magical properties. Some of the properties of the strigoi include: the ability to transform into an animal, invisibility, and the propensity to drain the vitality of victims via blood loss. Strigoi are also known as vampires.
