直线运动机构



十七世纪末期,在刨床及铣床发明之前,很难加工笔直的、平坦的表面。因此很难生产良好的,没有背隙的棱柱对。此时有许多任务程师设法用只有回转对的连杆机构产生直线运动,这类的机构称为直线运动机构。其中最为人所知的可能是瓦特在早期蒸汽机上导引活塞的机构。虽然此机构没有产生直正的直线,但在相当距离内可以产生近似直线的轨迹。
