步进马达（Stepper motor;Step motor）是直流无刷马达的一种，为具有如齿轮状突起（小齿）相锲合的定子和转子，可借由切换流向定子线圈中的电流，以一定角度逐步转动的马达。
步进马达的特征是因采用开回路控制（Open-loop control）处理，不需要运转量检知器（sensor）或编码器，且因切换电流触发器的是脉波信号，不需要位置检出和速度检出的回授设备，所以步进马达可正确地依比例追随脉波信号而转动，因此就能达成精确的位置和速度控制，且稳定性佳。
