Stařeč

Stařeč (German Startsch) is a small town (městys) in Třebíč District in the Vysočina Region of the Czech Republic.

The town covers an area of 15.39 square kilometres (5.94 sq mi), and has a population of 1,625 (as at 2007).

Stařeč lies approximately 5 kilometres (3 mi) south-west of Třebíč, 28 km (17 mi) south-east of Jihlava, and 142 km (88 mi) south-east of Prague.
