Society for Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance
The Society for Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance (SCMR) is an international non-profit medical society established in 1994. It's goal is to be an international representative and advocate for all physicians, scientists, and technologists working in cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR) imaging to improve patient outcomes through education, training, standards, research and development. Since its inception, the society has published more than 30 professional guidelines and expert consensus statements to help standardize and guide education, research and patient management with CMR. The society is consist of physicians, scientists, technologists and trainees, and is based in Mt. Royal, NJ, USA.
