水社柳
水社柳（Salix kusanoi）又名金柳、草野氏柳，为杨柳科柳属的常绿落叶性乔木，是台湾原生特有种。主要分布在台湾南投、宜兰、屏东低海拔至1500公尺以下山区之湿地及池塘。最早是日本人草野俊助在日月潭水社部落采集到，所以以日月潭的旧名「水社海」名之为「水社柳」，同时也被称为「草野氏柳」。水社柳由于其育地狭隘且极度稀有，野外成熟个体逐渐减少而被林务局评估为「濒临绝灭」（Endangered）。

Salix kusanoi 水社柳Salix kusanoi is a species of willow in the family Salicaceae. It is endemic to Taiwan. It is threatened by habitat loss. It is a deciduous shrub or small tree growing to 6 m (20 ft) tall. The leaves are alternate, 9 cm long and 4 cm broad, with an entire margin; they are green above, and paler below with fine silky hairs along the veins. The flowers are produced in catkins in early spring before or as the new leaves appear; it is dioecious, with male and female catkins on separate plants. The male catkins are 8–9 cm long; the female catkins are 3 cm long. |
