炎魔（Balrog）是托尔金（J.R.R. Tolkien）的奇幻小说世界中土大陆里的虚构角色。

炎魔是「黑影与火焰的生物」，牠们手中握着火鞭，为次级神，可以随意从自己体内取出适用的武器。炎魔站立起来有人类的三、四倍高，背后拖着一条长度等于身高的尾巴，拥有一对巨大的翅膀，头上长了一对弯角，全身覆满火焰。

炎魔出现于托尔金许多作品，包括《哈比人历险记》（1937）、《魔戒三部曲》（1954-55），以及他身故后由儿子克里斯托夫·托尔金编辑并出版的《精灵宝钻》（1977）、《未完成的故事》（Unfinished Tales，1980）和《中土世界的历史》（1983-96）系列。

Balrogs /ˈbælrɒɡz/ are fictional creatures who appear in J. R. R. Tolkien's Middle-earth legendarium. Such creatures first appeared in print in his novel The Lord of the Rings, where the Fellowship of the Ring encounter one known as Durin's Bane in the Mines of Moria. Balrogs figured in Tolkien's earlier writings that appeared posthumously in The Silmarillion and other books.
