全国图鉴编号331（日语：サボネア，英语：Cacnea），为草系的仙人掌神奇宝贝，主要颜色为绿色。身体呈圆形，手臂十分健壮。栖息于干燥地带。最初在红宝石、蓝宝石、绿宝石版中出现，可在111号道路上的沙漠地带遇见并捕捉。 在钻石、珍珠、白金版中，得到全国图鉴后，能在228号道路遇见野生的沙漠奈亚。特性为「沙里隐身」，效果是在天气为「沙风暴」时，回避率上升。 在钻石、珍珠、白金版中，可以学会格斗系的新招式「吸收拳」。

在《神奇宝贝钻石&珍珠》第53集中，小次郎的沙漠奈亚在菜种的指点下学会了绝招「吸收拳」，但小次郎认为自己没办法发挥沙漠奈亚该有的实力，因此便把牠交给了菜种训练。
