环保购物袋又名环保袋、购物袋、不织布袋，有别于塑胶袋，被认为较耐用而可以重复多次使用及可以降解，不织布袋因有加入降解剂，所以被认为环保，因此称之为有环保意义。环保购物袋的物料主要有牛仔布和麻等，也有用特制的纸制成。

因应环保概念，环保购物袋已经成为时尚潮流，免费派发量跟实用量多。在2007年的**及香港等地曾经限量引进时尚品牌Anya Hindmarch出品的环保购物袋，袋上有「I'm NOT A Plastic Bag」（我不是塑胶袋）的字样。由于抢购者众多，港台两地均有消费者因买不到购物袋而群起鼓噪，在**甚至发生人踩人的意外。
