红砖大学（英语：Red Brick University），最早是对创立于19世纪工业革命时期和大英帝国时期的维多利亚时代、在英格兰六大重要工业城市成立的私立研究及教育学院，并于第一次世界大战前得到皇家特许状的六所英国著名城市大学（civic universities）的称呼，是英国最顶尖的老牌名校。

这六所大学的创立之初均为科学或工程技术类院校，与英国工业革命有着极其密切的关系。这六所红砖大学均为英国顶尖大学联盟罗素大学集团的重要成员。区别于剑桥大学和牛津大学，红砖大学均是以英格兰六大重要工业城市名称而命名的英国最著名大学。

Red brick university (or redbrick university) is a term originally used to refer to six civic universities founded in the major industrial cities of the United Kingdom. The term is now used more broadly to refer to British universities founded in the late 19th and early 20th centuries in major cities. All of the six original redbrick institutions, or their predecessor institutes, gained university status before World War I and were initially established as civic science or engineering colleges.
