娱乐性药物（英语：Recreational drug），会影响人类中枢神经系统，造成人类意识、情绪状态改变的药物统称。这类药物通常被用来产生欣快感（euphoria）、阻止不快乐记忆、增加愉悦感、减少压力，以改善生活情况。这类药物不是为了工作使用，而是在余暇时，为了休闲娱乐使用，因此而得名，又称派对药物（Party drug）。这类药物也可能被用来增进宗教灵性，增强创造力，当成有助增进社交的工具，或是当成春药来使用，也是使用娱乐性药物的理由之一，例如酒、大麻与LSD等，都被用在这些用途上。

但是过量使用这些药物，可能造成物质使用疾患，会有物质滥用，甚至于物质依赖的现象产生。除了会造成个人心理与生理上的问题，也可能进而产生反社会行为与犯罪，形成社会问题。依照各种药物危害的程度，各国对这类药物都有程度不等的管制措施，因此这类药物可能是合法的，或受到管制，只能使用于医疗，或是完全禁止使用。被各国列为非法，禁止使用的药物，例如古柯碱、海洛英等，在汉语中通常称为毒品。

Recreational drug use is the use of a psychoactive drug (legal, controlled, or illegal) with the primary intention to alter the state of consciousness (through alteration of the central nervous system) in order to create positive emotions and feelings. The popular concept of this phenomenon puts it closer to a social behaviour that many places around the world tolerate rather than to serious medical conditions such as self-medication. When a substance enters the user's body, it brings on an intoxicating effect; in terms of psychoactive drugs, such as cannabis or MDMA, this is often referred to as a "high".
