As for culture, we know that many artforms  excelled during the Achaemenid Empire, with many cultural norms being adapted  from the acquisition of new lands.

Although the more common and recognizable term is still the Silk Road, before there was the Silk Road there was the Persian Royal Road, which was established by the Achaemenid Empire between around 550 to 330 BCE.
