雷蒙德·塞缪尔·汤姆林森（英语：Raymond Samuel Tomlinson；1941年4月23日－2016年3月5日），暱称雷·汤姆林森（Ray Tomlinson），美国进程员，以发明电子邮件而知名，被誉为“电子邮件之父”。

他于1971年在ARPANET系统上实现了第一个电子邮件系统。它是第一个能够在连接到ARPANE的不同主机用户之间发送邮件的系统。此前，邮件只能发送给使用同一台计算机的其他用户。

为了实现这一目标，他用@符号将用户名与计算机名分隔，而这一方案在电子邮件地址中沿用至今。 2012年获选进入互联网名人堂。互联网名人堂评论道“汤姆林森的电子邮件进程带来了彻底的革命，从根本上改变人们的交流方式。”

Raymond Samuel Tomlinson (April 23, 1941 – March 5, 2016) was a pioneering American computer programmer who implemented the first email program on the ARPANET system, the precursor to the Internet, in 1971. It was the first system able to send mail between users on different hosts connected to ARPANET. Previously, mail could be sent only to others who used the same computer. To achieve this, he used the @ sign to separate the user name from the name of their machine, a scheme which has been used in email addresses ever since. The Internet Hall of Fame in its account of his work commented "Tomlinson's email program brought about a complete revolution, fundamentally changing the way people communicate". Tomlinson is internationally known and credited as the inventor of the email.
