在光学及雷射科学中，瑞利距离（Rayleigh length）或瑞利范围（Rayleigh range）是指光束沿着其行进方向，从其腰部到其面积为腰部面积两倍的截面的距离，此时截面半径约为 $\sqrt { 2 }$ 倍的腰部半径。另一个相关的参数为共焦参数（confocal parameter）b，恰为瑞利距离的两倍。当用高斯光束来做为光束模型时，瑞利距离是相当重要的参数。
