Quingestanol

Quingestanol (INN, BAN), also known as 3-cyclopentyl norethisterone, is a steroidal progestin which was never marketed. An acylated derivative, quingestanol acetate, is used as a pharmaceutical drug.

While quingestanol is sometimes used as a synonym for quingestanol acetate, what is almost always being referred to is actually quingestanol acetate and not quingestanol.
