雪梨（学名：Pyrus nivalis），又名香梨，蔷薇科梨属的落叶乔木。原产于欧洲中部和东南部，分布于从欧洲东南部到西亚的地区，多生于阳光充足的开阔地。味道微酸，可生食或熟食。生长环境一般为15℃左右。株高可达10米，树冠直径可达8米，极耐寒，耐旱，耐高温及低温。由于它的花为白色，嫩芽和嫩叶远看好像披上一层雪一样，因而得名。果实除了可利用于发酵酒以外，也能栽培作欣赏用，是中国梨的常见品种。 **梨山雪梨是梨子里果粒最大的梨品种。最大可达2500公克。其品种由日本技师传至梨山。它的产期是每年十一月中旬至十二月下旬，冷藏保存可达6个月。味甜微酸肉嫩汁多，又名总统梨。
