夏枯草

夏枯草（学名：Prunella vulgaris），别称麦穗夏枯草、铁线夏枯草(云南)、铁色草(本草纲目)、乃东(本草纲目)、燕面(本草纲目)、白花草、六月干、大头花、棒槌草等，为唇形目唇形科植物。一般是在夏季采取半干燥果穗入药，但在**市场多见全草使用。在一般凉茶舖都有卖夏枯草饮料。主要生长于疏林、荒山、田埂及路旁，花期4－6月，果期7－10月。由于此草夏至后即枯，故有此名。
