Prosenice

Prosenice is a village and municipality (obec) in Přerov District in the Olomouc Region of the Czech Republic.

The municipality covers an area of 6.26 square kilometres (2.42 sq mi), and has a population of 849 (as at 3 July 2006).

Prosenice lies approximately 5 kilometres (3 mi) north-east of Přerov, 21 km (13 mi) south-east of Olomouc, and 230 km (143 mi) east of Prague.
