突崩溃
突崩溃（英语：Avalanche breakdown），又称突崩溃、累增崩溃或雪崩崩溃，是指对一些绝缘体或半导体施加足够的电压时，流过它们的电流突然增大。这主要与金属原子外自由运动的电子有关。大部分的绝缘体或半导体载运电流的能力受限于能够在原子外中自由运动的电子的不足，而强大的电流所产生的电子能够击出原子中的电子而使它变成自由电子。而由于上述的现象类似于雪崩产生的滚雪球效应，因此得名。

It is a form of electric current multiplication that can allow very large currents within materials which are otherwise good insulators. It is a type of electron avalanche. The avalanche process occurs when carriers in the transition region are accelerated by the electric field to energies sufficient to create mobile or free electron-hole pairs via collisions with bound electrons. |
