AUTOPOLIS 为日本大分县日田市的一座赛道，赛道全长为4,674米，于1990年开幕，管理机构为 Autopolis 股份有限公司 (株式会社オートポリス)。

此赛道为日本银行家鹤卷智德花费五亿美元所兴建，鹤卷智德曾以5,160万美元的天价标下巴勃罗·毕卡索的作品 Les Noces de Pierrette。

原本作为高尔夫球场建设预定地，因遭遇石油危机而计划中止，留下这片广大的土地。「日本AUTOPOLIS」是不动产开发业者，同时也是后来AUTOPOLIS的营运公司，在其社长鹤卷智德的指示下，于泡沫景气全盛期的1990年迎来AUTOPOLIS的开幕。同年11月30日，招待前首相竹下登，在东京全日空饭店局举行了开幕派对。 鹤卷在****年于同饭店举行之拍卖会，以5160万美金标得巴勃罗‧毕卡索的「埃特的婚礼」而世界闻名。且之后也成为A.P. Indy(冠军马)的马主。 1991年3月，作为落成后首次赛事，举办全日本F3000锦标赛，决胜日当天有超过7万人次观众到场，将看台挤得水泄不通。 1991年10月举行了AUTOPOLIS首次的FIA公认世界锦标赛─赛车世界锦标赛(SWC)的最终战，F1出道不久的麦可‧舒马克也出赛，并赢得优胜。

Autopolis(オートポリス,Ōtoporisu) is an international racing circuit located near Kamitsue village in Ōita Prefecture, Japan (30 km Northeast of Kumamoto). Opened in 1990, it hosts a range of domestic and international motorsport events throughout the year. Although the track meets a high standard in terms of its facilities, it has never hosted a Formula One race. Due to the circuit ending up in financial difficulties, it has changed hands several times but still operates to this day.
