Polkowice [pɔlkɔˈvʲit͡sɛ] (German:Polkwitz, 1937–1945 Heerwegen) is a town in south-western Poland. It is situated in Lower Silesian Voivodeship. The town is the seat of Polkowice County and of the smaller administrative district called Gmina Polkowice.
