自主神经系统（英语：autonomic nerve system，缩写为ANS），又称植物神经系统（vegetative nervous system，VNS）或内脏神经系统，与躯体神经系统共同组成脊椎动物的周围神经系统。

所谓“自主”，是因为未受训练的人无法靠意识控制该部分神经的活动。自主神经系统掌握着性命攸关的生理功能，如心脏搏动，呼吸，血压，消化和新陈代谢。

此外，如性器官和血管系统和眼内肌都受到该神经系统的控制。中枢神经系统和周围神经系统都有自主神经成分。

相比起交感神经和副交感神经，肠神经系统受中枢调节不多，比较独立。交感神经和副交感神经一般来说起相互拮抗的作用（例外：唾液分泌）。
