活动星图
旋转星图又称活动星图，是由两个有着共同轴心，可调整的盘面组成，类似星图的观星工具。它可以调整显示出任何日期和时间可以看见的星星，是协助如何辨认出恒星和星座的仪器。在希腊时代就有的仪器等高仪──（astrolabe），是现代星座盘的始祖。部份观星者用来计划一晚观测的进程。不同地理纬度的观测者使用的旋转星图也不同，例如香港使用的是北纬20度至25度的旋转星图，而南、北纬所用的也不同。旋转星图相对较便宜，且可显示出不少的星座，又方便携带，所以适合入门观星者使用。
