自体免疫性疾病（Autoimmune disease），亦作自体免疫问题，是一种人体内自己的免疫系统攻击自己身体正常细胞的疾病，就是正常的免疫能力下降，而异常的免疫能力却突显的一种问题。 所谓异常的免疫能力，就是认友为敌，把自己身体里本来不是病毒或细菌的东西，当成病毒或细菌来攻击，希望将之驱出体外。人体内免疫系统的抗体原本是针对外来的抗原或体内不正常的细胞（如肿瘤细胞）进行攻击与清除，是保护身体的一种生理机制。但在一些情形下，免疫系统可能会产生出对抗自己身体内正常细胞（甚至细胞内的各种正常组成部份）的抗体，造成不正常的过度发炎反应或是组织伤害，进而影响身体健康造成疾病。这些认友为敌、攻击不该攻击对象的抗体，便称为自体免疫抗体（Autoantibody，亦作自体抗体）。 |
