Petrosyan

Petrosyan (Armenian: Պետրոսյան), Petrosian or Petrossian (Eastern Armenian), Bedrosian or Bedrossian (Western Armenian) is one of the most common surnames in Armenia. It is a patronymic from the Armenian first name Petros (equivalent to Peter, making the name effectively equivalent to Peterson).
