自三十几岁至五十几岁，他在小亚细亚创建了好几个教会，在欧洲创建了至少三个，包括哥林多教会。他一生中至少进行了三次漫长的宣教之旅，足迹遍至小亚细亚、希腊、意大利各地，在外邦人中创建了许多教会，影响深远。

Paul the Apostle (Greek: Παῦλος Paulos; c. 5 – c. 67), originally known as Saul of Tarsus (Hebrew:שאול התרסי‎ Sha'ul ha-Tarsi, Greek: Σαῦλος Ταρσεύς Saulos Tarseus), was an apostle (though not one of the Twelve Apostles) who taught the gospel of Christ to the first-century world. He is generally considered one of the most important figures of the Apostolic Age. In the mid-30s to the mid-50s, he founded several churches in Asia Minor and Europe. Paul took advantage of his status as both a Jew and a Roman citizen to minister to both Jewish and Roman audiences.
