    纯八度（Perfect Eighth，亦称为Octave）是音程的一种，它的组成是由2个相同音名但来自不同音域所组成。两音的距离为12个半音，而频率的比例是2:1，换而言之，较高音的频率为较低音的两倍。而这个比例，不论是运用平分律、纯律或是毕氏音程都是相同的。 在古代中国音乐理论中，八度谱记称为均。 纯八度是和声学中第二简单的音程关系（最简单的是纯一度）。亦被喻为是「音乐上最常用的音程」 在泛音列中，第1音和第2音的音程关系便是纯八度。纯八度音程往往给人一种非常舒畅的感觉，这和两音的频率重叠有关系，由于两者成倍数关系，因此其正弦波的叠加波型并不会出现不协调音程中起伏不平的波段，反而能达至互补的作用，因而制造出一份和谐感。又因人耳在听到纯八度和声时，会有将两个音当成同一个音的倾向，因此，这样的关系又可被称为等价八度（octave equivalence）。另一方面，又由于音程所产生的共鸣感，令听者感觉以八度音程行进的旋律，音色会比单旋律的弹奏更为丰富。
