巴龙霉素（Paromomycin）为氨基糖苷类抗生素，抗菌谱与新霉素相似。其特点是对阿米巴原虫有强大的杀灭作用，对革兰氏阴性杆菌、抗酸杆菌均有良好抑菌作用，此外，本品还对绦虫有效。临床上主要用于肠阿米巴病、细菌性痢疾及细菌性肠道感染，也可治疗绦虫病。
