天堂长尾鹦鹉（Psephotus pulcherrimus），又名乐园鹦鹉，是一种色彩丰富及中等身形的鹦鹉，生活于昆士兰及新南威尔士边界草原。虽然牠们的分布地有限，但数量也算丰富，最后发现牠们是于1927年。不断有大型的搜索行动，但却都未能再见到牠们，国际鸟盟自1994年起判定它们已经灭绝。

天堂长尾鹦鹉成对或以细小的家庭形式生活，会在清空的白蚁丘等接近地面的地方筑巢。牠们很多时间会留在地上，主要是吃草的种子。

天堂长尾鹦鹉的羽毛颜色很丰富，包括有土耳其玉色、水色、绯红色、黑色及褐色，尾巴差不多与身体一样长。

The paradise parrot (Psephotus pulcherrimus) was a colourful medium-sized parrot native to the grassy woodlands of the Queensland - New South Wales border area of eastern Australia. Once moderately common within its fairly restricted range, the last live bird was seen in 1927. Extensive and sustained searches in the years since then have failed to produce any reliable evidence of it, and it is unknown if it is extinct or not.
