黄叶病黄叶病（又名萎蔫病、巴拿马病）是出现在香蕉根部的植物病。黄叶病由尖孢镰刀菌古巴专化型（Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. cubense）引起。尖孢镰刀菌透过分泌毒素，引发香蕉出现细胞进程性死亡。此真菌对杀真菌剂有抵抗力，至今无药可治。黄叶病又被称为「香蕉癌症」，在2009年曾因此名称在中国传出香蕉致癌的传言，各地的香蕉价格惨跌。其实，黄叶病与食用香蕉的安全性没有任何关联，况且患上黄叶病的香蕉在收成前已经死亡，即使能结果，其果实也很小。 现代培植的香蕉都无法制造有用的花粉和没有种子，只能进行无性生殖，故现代大量种植的作物香蕉基因都是一模一样的，且无法透过遗传变异发展出对疾病的抗性。因此，黄叶病能感染蕉园之间的所有香蕉，造成大规模的失收。

Panama disease 黄叶病Panama disease is a plant disease of the roots of banana plants. It is a type of Fusarium wilt, caused by the fungal pathogen Fusarium oxysporum. The pathogen is resistant to fungicide and cannot be controlled chemically. In spite of its name, the disease probably originated in Southeast Asia and was first reported in Queensland, Australia in 1876. |
