定向地图
定向地图是定向运动所使用的地图，是地形图的一种，提供极为详尽的地表信息，作为定向选手在比赛过程中定位与导航的依据。
定向地图比传统地形图包含更多的信息，并使用一套标准符号绘制，让使用任何语言的人都可以了解。除了以等高线表示地形的起伏外，地图还包含森林密度、水文信息、空旷地、小径、道路、土堤、石墙、冲沟、渠道、井、坑、围篱、输电线、人造物、建筑、大石与其他地表上的信息。定向地图采用1:15000或是1:10000的比例尺。

Orienteering map 定向地图
An orienteering map is a map specially prepared for use in orienteering competitions. It is a topographic map with extra details to help the competitor navigate through the competition area.
These maps are much more detailed than general-purpose topographic maps, and incorporate a standard symbology that is designed to be useful to anyone, regardless of native language. In addition to indicating the topography of the terrain with contour lines, orienteering maps also show forest density, water features, clearings, trails and roads, earthen banks and rock walls, ditches, wells and pits, fences and power lines, buildings, boulders, and other features of the terrain. Orienteering maps are 1:15 000 or 1:10 000 scale.
